Asia is home to around 4.46 billion people. The population on the continent is six times that of Europe, so, it’s no surprise that it is also home to many languages.
Most people in Europe speak Indo-European languages, such as Slavic, Romance and Germanic dialects. In Asia, there is a far wider linguistic spectrum that includes Indo-European, Sino-Tibetan, Dravidian and Altaic languages.
The fact that Asia is characterized by mountains, vast planes, islands and wilderness, communities were often isolated and able to develop languages without outside influences, however, the majority of Asians speak the languages commonly associates to the continent, like Mandarin, Hindi, English, Russian Indonesian, Bengali and Japanese.
